Custom Prints, Done Right.
Direct Shot was created after discovering I needed a better solution for storing and
transporting my ammo to the range. I needed to come up with a better way to carry my
ammo, but I was tired of lugging around heavy, oversized ammo cans or dealing with
the fragile paper boxes that fall apart after one use. I needed something compact,
secure, and organized—and I realized that if I wanted it done right, I had to build it
myself. And that’s how Direct Shot 3D custom printing was born.
In the military, when the gear doesn’t fit the mission, you innovate.

Veteran-Owned. Precision-Focused.
In September 2025, I founded Direct Shot to bring a “mission-first” mindset to the 3D
printing world. As a Veteran-Owned and Operated business based in Jacksonville, Florida. I apply the same discipline and attention to detail to my printers that I did to my service.
While we specialize in tactical solutions, our mission has grown. Today, Direct Shot is a
full-service custom shop.
We bring that same level of military-grade precision to:
– Tactical Gear: Custom-engineered ammo storage and range solutions.
– Seasonal & Holiday Designs: Unique, high-quality decor you won’t find in big-
box stores.
– Custom Personalization: Whether it’s a gift or a specialized model print, if you
can dream it, we can print it.
Why Direct Shot?
We believe in Integrity, Accountability, and Precision. Whether I’m designing a
rugged ammo carrier or a personalized holiday gift, my goal is to provide accessible,
affordable and high-quality manufacturing for our community.
At Direct Shot, we don’t just “ammo boxes”—we execute a mission. If it isn’t “Direct
Shot” quality, it doesn’t ship.
What makes this version effective:
– The “Pivot”: It transitions smoothly from the “tough” ammo story into the
creative seasonal work by framing both as a “mission” for the customer.
– Versatility: It shows you aren’t just a tactical shop, making you more appealing
to a wider audience (like families looking for holiday decor).
– Local Pride: Keeps the Jacksonville roots front and center.

Pricing
Pricing is simple: You pay based on how much material your print uses, plus a small base fee that covers setup, inspection, and packaging.
Material cost
Material costs vary based on the type of filament (PLA vs PETG, standard vs specialty colors), but the pricing is always transparent. You’ll see the breakdown before you check out.
Shipping
Shipping is calculated separately at checkout based on your location and package size. I use the local carrier rates, so there is no markup.
material type
Standard PLA is the most economical. PETG costs a bit more due to material costs. Specialty filaments (glow-in-the-dark, carbon fiber, etc.) have their own pricing.
infill density
Most prints don’t need to be solid. The default infill settings balance strength and material usage. If you need something extra sturdy, higher infill uses more material.
quantity
Printing multiples of the same part is an efficient setup is the same whether I’m printing one or ten. Larger orders get better per-unit pricing.
OPTIONAL add-ons
Multi-color Printing — $2
Enable multi-color or multi-material printing using the AMS system. Requires a follow-up consultation to ensure your design is set up correctly for optimal results.
Queue Priority — $15
Jump to the front of the queue. Typically reduces your turnaround time by 3-5 days. Good for when you need something faster than the standard ~1 week.
free Print assistance
If you are not sure if your model is print-ready? I’ll review your settings and reach out before printing if anything looks off. No charge—I’d rather catch issues before they waste material.
estimates
Every print is different, but to give an idea of what things typically cost:
Small parts (, clips, small brackets) — Usually a few dollars. These use minimal material.
Medium objects (phone stands, figurines, custom ammo boxes) — Typically $5-15
depending on complexity and size and the material used.
Large items (, decorative pieces, functional anime models) — $15-40+ depending on
how much material they need.
Extra-large prints — Bigger parts use more plastic. Which means more material and
longer print times- generally $50.00 and up
These are rough estimates for standard PLA.
Common Questions
How accurate is the instant quote?
Very accurate. The system uses professional slicing software to calculate exact material usage. The price you see when you upload is the price you pay (plus shipping and any add-ons you select).
Do you offer volume discounts?
For larger orders or ongoing production runs, reach out at
directshot3dprinting@gmail.com I’m happy to discuss custom pricing for bulk work.
What if a file is too big for your printers?
For larger parts (up to 340×320×340mm), I have H2C printer available. If your part exceeds those dimensions, we can discuss splitting it into multiple pieces.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price shown is what you pay for printing. Shipping is calculated separately at checkout based on your location and package size.
What’s the turnaround time?
Most orders ship within about a week. If you need it faster, add Queue Priority and I’ll bump your order to the front.
Build Volumes
Standard prints can be up to 250 × 250 × 250mm. For larger projects, the H2C printers handle parts up to 340 × 320 × 340mm. If your design is bigger than that, we can discuss splitting it into multiple pieces.
Materials
PLA is the go-to for most projects—eco-friendly, great surface finish, and works well for prototypes, display pieces, and many functional parts.
PETG is available when you need more durability. It’s weather-resistant, handles heat better, and works great for outdoor use or parts that take abuse.
Need something specific? I work with BambuLab verified filaments for consistent quality. Reach out if you have special material requirements.
Multi-Color Printing
Using the AMS (Automatic Material System), I can print in multiple colors or materials in a single print. This requires a quick consultation before printing to make sure your design is set up correctly.
